Golden Land Braces For Busy 2018

Next year will be a busy one for Golden Land Property Development Plc as the company has plans to launch 34 new projects, reports local media. The projects will be located throughout Thailand and are worth a combined total of THB39.6 billion. In 2017, the company launched 14 projects valued at THB15 billion.

Of the new projects launched in 2018, 20 will be townhouse developments, 8 will be duplex house projects, and 4 are single-house projects. There will also be 1 project in both Ayutthaya and Chiang Rai but type of these is still to be determined. Golden Land hopes the new developments help it increase pre-sales by 34% next year.

“The total number and sales value for the new projects being launched next year will double from this year because 2017 results beat their target. We increased the land investment budget for 2018 to THB13.2 billion from THB8.13 billion this year as the company targets high growth in residential development the next few years,” says Saenphin Sukhee, Golden Land Residential Group Managing Director, to The Nation.

The upcoming new projects will have plot sizes of at least 50 rai since the company feels these are better investments than small tracts of land. Golden Land will launch 3 projects on land plots over 200 rai. These will be located at Nawamin Soi 42, Kalpapruek Road, and Phetkasem Road in Bang Khae.

Golden Land wants to focus on developing single houses, townhouses, and duplexes outside of Bangkok. Units in these areas will be priced between THB1.5 and THB3 million and will target the real demand coming from salarypeople in the provinces. The company has only recently starting developing projects outside of the Thai capital.

“This year we launched our 1st provincial project in Sri Racha, Chon Buri, as we saw opportunities in the government’s Eastern Economic Corridor initiatives,” says Saenphin.
