CBRE Thailand has successfully secured approximately 1,400 sqm of space at a 3-storey standalone retail building on Sukhumvit Soi 15 for the establishment of the first Korean Culture and Studies Centre in Thailand.
The Korean Cultural Centre and Korean Studies Centre aims to strengthen the relationship between Thailand and South Korea by exchanging cultures and sharing knowledge. CBRE Thailand was tasked with the search by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
The centres will hold a variety of activities and events including Korean cooking, language and dancing classes, as well as press conferences on K-Pop concerts and other entertainment-related events in Thailand.
The building is scheduled to open to the public in early 2013.
