Kingdom Property has awarded the piling contract for its Southpoint Pattaya project to notable foundation contractor Thai Bauer.
Affiliated with German construction powerhouse Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH, Thai Bauer began procedures on the foundations at the development early last month.
Kingdom Property CEO Nigel Cornick said it was a pleasure to be working with Thai Bauer again. He previously worked with the company whilst with Raimon Land.
Cornick said: "As a real estate developer we are always looking to improve standards and provide value to our buyers. Through this partnership I certainly think it will achieve that and the market can be fully confident that we are in the process of building an exceptional project of high quality that will be delivered to all original specifications and importantly, on schedule."
Thai Bauer CEO Mike Sinkinson was equally enthusiastic about the deal and pleased to be working on a project and in a destination of enormous potential.
He said: "We are delighted to be working with the team at Kingdom Property and the familiar faces there. Pattaya as a destination has enormous potential and we are proud to further enhance Kingdom Property’s status as a prominent developer along the booming Eastern Seaboard.”
Southpoint Pattaya is valued at THB2.5 billion, with the construction process scheduled to be completed in 2015. More than 60 percent of the development has been sold to date.
