Karma Samui Resort will be renamed Kanda Residences after villa owners took full control from the previous owners yesterday.
Owners of the 36 pool villas have appointed Mai-BS (Thailand) as the interim management company to handle the handover as well as execute changes in the concept of the property.
The new Kanda Residences will be marketed as a prestigious property, catering to both local and international clients keen on a private villa pool environment.
Aside from its walled pool villas, the sea-front property also features the popular Rockpool restaurant.
Speaking to local media, villa owner Alan Rutledge said: “We are very happy to finally have control of our stunning pool villa property. It is our dream and goal to have our deluxe property professionally, transparently and profitably managed, as well as to share our memorable in-villa experiences, views and services.”
