A record for the highest-priced property in Bangkok has been set with the sale of a unit at the Ritz-Carlton Residences, part of the MahaNakhon development on Chong Nonsi.
According to the Agency for Real Estate Affairs the THB222 million price paid for the 734 sqm unit at Pace Development’s project (pictured) equates to an average price of THB302,452 per sqm.
A 590 sqm unit at Raimon Land’s The River sold for THB183.7 million – the second-highest price paid for an individual property. Raimon Land, in the shape of its 185 Rajadamri project, occupied third place with a THB164 million sale of a 469 sqm unit.
The record for the most expensive property based on the per sqm price is held by a unit at Galerie Rue de 39, developed by Asian Property, which achieved a THB350,000 per sqm price according to the agency.
