AkzoNobel, a leading paints and coatings company and a major producer of specialty chemicals, has launched a new marketing campaign – “Let’s Colour Your Home with Dulux” – aimed at getting property owners in Thailand to embark on DIY painting at home.
The campaign, spearheaded by popular singer J Jetrin Wattanasin, includes new television commercials, in-store promotions, and a social media campaign to encourage people to take up the fun challenge of painting areas of their home with the guidance of support of Dulux’s expertise.
Chroong Kanjchanapoomi, Managing Director of AkzoNobel Paints (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said: “As a leading player in the industry we would like to share our knowledge and provide education to those householders who would like to transform their homes and create a fresh environment for their family.”
He added that painting at home can be fun and can provide a fresh living space with a minimal spend.
“Our goal is to provide all our customers with a platform for creativity within their lives.”
Dulux will provide information and tips via websites, social media and point of sale to customers encouraged to try DIY. The campaign’s primary target is homeowners in additional to shop owners and professional decorators.
The television commercials will promote Dulux EasyCare, an interior paint with StainGuard technology, and Dulux Weathershield, an exterior paint that is durable for all types of weather.
As part of the campaign customers who make a THB1,000 purchase of Dulux, Supercote, Cuprinol and Maxilite will be entered into a lucky draw to with a chance of winning 20 Yamaha Fino motorcycles.
The campaign starts from August to December and lucky draw will be made five times in September, October, November and December.
