Sydney showcase for Phuket property

11 Jan 2014

In a bid to capitalise on the growing number of Australians looking to buy property on the Thai island of Phuket, Thailand real estate agency Siam Real Estate and its partners will be exhibiting 10 Phuket projects in Sydney later this month.

Richard Lusted, Chief Executive Officer of of Siam Real Estate, told DDproperty.com: “The demographics of Phuket’s visitors has changed dramatically since 2008 and currently the four top countries are China, Russia, Korea and Australia. Europe and other markets are now taking a back seat and this trend is likely to continue.”

His company recently agreed the first co-operation with the two largest Australian real estate franchises, LJ Hooker and Ray White, with combined branch outlets of 1,700 offices in Australasia .

Lusted added: “More Australians are discovering the merits of buying property in Phuket, and thanks to more direct flights to Phuket the numbers of visitors are growing fast.”

Siam Real Estate will be exhibiting 10 off-plan Phuket projects at a Phuket Property Show at Four Points Sheraton Hotel, Darling Harbour, on January 24 and January 24.
