Property prices in Bangkok, and its neighbouring provinces of Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan, saw an average increase of 5.6 percent year-on-year according to data from the Real Estate Information Center, with developments close to future mass transit lines seeing the largest price gains.
The highest price rise was seen in the THB50,000 to THB80,000 per sqm segment – at 8.7 percent – while those in Bangkok priced between THB80,000 to THB120,000 per sqm rose by 7.9 percent.
Bangkok districts where the prices of condominiums increased the most included Chatuchak, Huai Khwang, Phrakhanong, Bang Na, Klong San, Thonburi, Prawet and Bang Khen.
The lowest price growth – at just 3 percent – was seen in the THB120,000 per sqm sector in Bangkok.
