Sansiri joint venture BTS

Prolific property developer Sansiri has entered into a joint-venture strategic collaboration agreement with mass-transit operator BTS Group Holdings development residential projects for sale within a 500-meter radius of all mass transit stations in Bangkok.

A statement published to The Stock Exchange of Thailand noted that the 50:50 joint-venture will create a new joint venture company. An 8,000 sqm development located neat Mo Chit BTS stations was also given approval to be the first project under the scheme. That development will feature 900 units with an expected completion date at the end of 2016.

The deal was signed yesterday (October 16).
