Savills markets UK student homes

6 Feb 2014

Savills Thailand has started to market a U.K. student accomodation project to its Thai clients.

The development, called Asquith House in the northern city of Leeds, is offering 9 percent guaranteed returns for five years. The initial investment level is from £52,995 (THB285,000 approx.)

Student accomodation, and indeed U.K. property investments as a whole, have been extremely popular with buyers from Southeast Asia over the past two years. Knight Frank recently reported that the Student Accomodation asset class will continue to outperform traditional property asset classes well into this year.
