Absolute World Group recently broke ground on phase two of its award-winning mixed use Absolute Twin Sands Resort & Spa development south of Patong in Phuket.
The resort enjoyed tremendous success in its sell-out first phase. The 50 apartments which form phase two launched last year and quickly achieved similar sell-out success. Construction is now underway and expected to be complete Q2 2015.
Speaking at the ground-breaking event Chief Executive Officer Bryan Lunt said: “It is very encouraging to see the huge success of phase one after a year of resort operation, and today we start on a new journey with the construction of phase two.
“As with phase one, phase two was sold-out off plan, delivering great value and affordable luxury to our owners. We look forward to launching phase three soon – once again in partnership with leading international agent Jones Lang LaSalle.”
The third phase is nearing launch and prices – which will be confirmed later this month – are expected to be in the region of THB100,000 per sqm. The new phase will consist of superior and villa-style apartments connected by waterways and cascading waterfalls.
Absolute Twin Sands Resort & Spa is developed in partnership with APlan properties – a co-operation that has already borne success in the Absolute Nakalay Beach Resort, Phuket which opened in 2010, and with estate management services by Jones Lang LaSalle Thailand.
Dexter Norville, National Director of Jones Lang LaSalle Thailand, said: “Jones Lang LaSalle is thrilled to continue to lead sales at this prestigious resort and provide our highly acclaimed management services, including juristic management functions.
“Once again we look forward to the continued success of our award-winning collaboration with the Absolute World Group and providing our owners with a product that we feel is hard to beat.”
The Absolute World Group is also set to open its much-anticipated boutique private residence xlub, The Beach Samui, on Koh Samui during May 2014. This will form part of the world-renowned Design Hotels collection.
