Record month for English news

4 Aug 2014

Last month saw a record number of unique visitors to the English news pages of DDproperty.com – Thailand’s number one property website.

Many industry observers and analysts had predicted a decline in interest from overseas in the wake of the military intervention in May however both June and July saw significant interest in property and real estate news in the kingdom from overseas.

Last month’s editorial page views were more than 110 percent higher than the previous month and 35 percent higher than the previous record high.

The most-read story in English during July was regarding the launch of IconSiam, and also attracting attention was a story based on data from DDproperty.com which shows how the pattern of searching for property to buy, sell and rent in Bangkok is changing.

The record-breaking month for English news was also matched by the Thai news channel, which also achieved a best-ever month for page views.

Napong Panthong, Head of Marketing for DDproperty.com, said: “These figures reinforce our position as the number one property website in Thailand, and the single most important go-to source for all property and real estate news – whether in Thai or English.”
