Thailand-based property buyers and investors were out in force last weekend to discover more about the Japanese ski resort of Niseko.
Christian Robb, Senior Sales Manager, International Project Sales and Marketing at Colliers, told DDproperty.com: “We were fully subscribed at the lunch events, and there were a number of positive leads which we are following up on.
“A couple of guests had flights and holidays already booked for themselves and families for the 2014/2015 Winter season, so we are likely to set follow-up meetings either before they go or in Niseko.”
Robb added that the most surprising thing to come out of the lunch presentations was how truly amazing a summer visit can be to Niseko.
“Niseko Resorts Group have been active this year with promoting school trips and summer camp vacations with a vast array of fun and educational activities. Feedback would appear extremely positive from children, parents and teachers.
“Following the event, it was decided that this is something that should definitely be promoted here at Thailand schools and we are investigating.”
Eddie Guillemette, the Chief Executive Officer of the Niseko Resorts Group, said: “We have witnessed a significant increase in Thai tourists recently which has been really positive. There is no restriction on foreign ownership of freehold land and houses in Japan, which has helped fuel the interest of prospective Thai based buyers in our resort location.’
The Orchards (pictured), an exclusive master planned community, celebrated its launch earlier this year with the opening of the clubhouse and launch of the resort hospitality services in Niseko, Asia’s premier international mountain resort.
The third and most recent development by property specialists, Niseko Resorts Group, The Orchards offers a combination of privacy, space and convenience with 46 luxury home plots and five commercial plots over seven hectares of land.
Located in a pristine natural environment with panoramic views, mature cherry trees and a large central feature pond, The Orchard is a 1.2km drive from Niseko’s Hirafu ski village.
The Orchards offers its buyers a luxury build-to-order service, combined with community assets and space for commercial operations and hospitality services to be enjoyed year round. Buyers select their preferred plot of land within the estate and then complement it with a home style that best suits their lifestyle needs.
