Savills rebrands property management arm

22 Aug 2014

Global property consultancy Savills has rebranded its property management business from SavillsCKH to Savills Property Management.

The name change, along with a logo update, is expected to reinforce the Savills brand as an integrated real estate consultancy in the Asia-Pacific region.

In August 2011, Savills merged its property and asset management services with those of Chan Kok Hong Strata Management to become SavillsCKH, but the management decided to consolidate the property management under the Savills branding, which has grown substantially in Singapore.

Chan Kok Hong, founder of CKH Strata Management, retains a significant equity interest and remains the Managing Director. He is also Chairman of the Association of Strata Managers Singapore.

“This is a logical step for our business and enables us to take full advantage of the strong brand equity, know-how and systems and technology available within the Savills group. The original merger was very smooth and the entire team truly feels a part of the Savills global family,” noted Chan.

Chris Marriot, Chief Executive Officer, Savills Southeast Asia, said: “The Savills Property Management team has been delivering an excellent comprehensive service to our broad client base of commercial and residential owners. The reputation of Mr Chan and his team is outstanding and the blend of local talent and international brand equity has spurred the business to tremendous growth in recent years.

“The future looks bright as we expand our services into the office and retail sectors and support our fund and equity clients with asset management services,” he added.
