The Gulf of Thailand City has slowly become a destination for some of the kingdom’s classiest properties – but without the price tags you’d expect to see in places like Phuket or in the centre of Bangkok.
Mark Bowling, Associate Director of Colliers and responsible for the company’s Pattaya operations, shared his view on two properties worth of consideration for anyone considering the city for own-use or investment properties.
He said: “Amari Residences (pictured top) is a mixed-use residential project with serviced apartments on the lower floors and private condominium on the upper floors.
“Managed by the internationally acclaimed Amari hotel group, the project boasts all of the benefits you’d expect from a top-notch management company in a four-star resort residence, including higher than average rental yields.”
Amari Residences has been shortlisted for the coveted Best Condominium on the Eastern Seaboard for the 2014 Thailand Property Awards, and currently there are just five units remaining for sale.
Construction is scheduled to be completed in April 2015, and all units are in foreign ownership freehold with prices starting at just over THB6million for 65sqm two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit which offers sea and island views.
“Vineyard Phase III La Residence (pictured bottom) is another worthy of mention,” said Bowling.
It is a notable luxury housing development located 10 minutes from downtown Pattaya and all it has to offer, yet a million miles away from the hustle and bustle when you wish to relax in a peaceful environment.
“The Vineyard comes from the multi-award winning Bravo-Thai development team, who are also nominated for Best Villa Development on the Eastern Seaboard in the Thailand Property Awards with this contemporary project.”
Built to the highest specification European standards, prices start from THB13.5million for a three-bedroom villa of 170sqm plus private swimming pool. Finance options are also available.
