United States-based luxury destination club Inspirato has announced it is adding properties in the Maldives and Thailand to its global vacation portfolio, representing the club’s first venture into Asia.
The offerings in Thailand include a 2,800-sq ft ocean-view villa and a 5,100-sq ft private retreat within the Soneva Kiri resort on the island of Koh Kood. Inspirato members will enjoy private infinity-edge pools, personal butler service, world-class snorkeling and scuba diving, and an unforgettable dining experience in the resort’s treetop dining pod.
“Soneva’s resorts in Thailand and the Maldives are spectacular, offering the absolute best in exotic, barefoot luxury and secluded relaxation,” said Brent Handler, founder and CEO of Inspirato.
“We have been looking for that dream-like, out-of-this-world, hidden gem where our members could escape to truly get away and we found it,” he added.
With the addition of the club’s new properties Inspirato members can now take advantage of 172 travel options in 51 destinations. Designed for a new generation of luxury consumers and travelers, Inspirato members have access to a growing portfolio of luxury homes in the world’s top destinations, including California, the Caribbean, Colorado, France, Hawaii, Italy, London, Mexico, and New York City.
By leasing vacation properties, as opposed to owning them, Inspirato is able to keep membership fees low and offers up to 50 percent off market rates. Its innovative business model has led to rapid growth since its January 2011 launch, placing Inspirato at the forefront of the “luxury for less” movement.
