Pop superstar Beyonce Knowles and husband Jay-Z are renting out a 31,000 sq ft mansion (pictured) in the Hamptons near New York City for a staggering US$400,000 (THB 12.59 million) just for the month of August.
Dubbed the Sandcastle, the property will be the couple’s holiday getaway in an area known for its exclusive cluster of villages located on Long Island, New York.
Built by famed developer Joe Farrell, the 11-acre property has a 2,800 sq ft master suite, a media room, rock climbing wall, skateboard half-pipe, virtual golf course and a two-lane bowling alley.
In addition, there is a sunken tennis court, pool, spa and full bar with disco, a “planetarium like home theatre” and an entire area dedicated to children.
The Sandcastle is also on sale for US$43.5 million and is being marketed by real estate firm Corcoran.
