Renovation works are set to start tomorrow at Bangkok’s Empire Tower – and are expected to last 16 months.
The 62 storey 227-metre office tower is the sixth tallest building in Thailand, and the work will provide a walkway to both the BTS and BRT stations. Improvements to the lower floors are also slated, as are expanded dropping-off areas.
In a statement to tenants, building managers Jones Lang LaSalle said the renovations will provide: “… a new modern design to create a comprehensive office building providing a multitude of services.”
Additional retail and dining options will also be included as part of the modernisation.
