By Andrew Batt:
Thai listed property developer Sansiri has revealed plans for a beachfront condominium project in Phuket – its seventh development on the island but the first which will be targeting foreign buyers.
The 206-unit medium-rise development at Mai Kao beach (pictured) in the north of the island will launch in March. It will feature nine buildings with a maximum of five storeys, with sizes starting at 60 sqm for a one-bedroom condominium. Two- and three-bedroom units, duplex apartments and penthouse units will also form part of the project.
Mai Kao is close to Phuket’s international airport and is far less commercialised that the better-known traditional foreign property buying locations of Patong, Karon and Kata.
Prices are expected to start from THB 120,000 per sqm, or from THB 7.3 million upwards to THB 35 million for units.
