Knight Frank Thailand celebrated its 15th anniversary last week, and revealed plans to offer additional services on the road to its goal of being the best real estate services provider in the kingdom.

The company is expanding by opening new lines of service, such as International Project Marketing to assist with the marketing of Thai properties overseas; Premier Homes, a specialised integrated unit that handles the purchase and sale of high-end residential condominiums and homes; and the expansion of the commercial property agency with added expertise from Knight Frank Newmark of the United States.

Phanom Kanjanathiemthao, Managing Director of Knight Frank Chartered (Thailand), said the company began 15 years ago with only seven employees. Since 1998 it has grown tremendously, becoming a large enterprise with more than 300 employees in Bangkok and Phuket, and a comprehensive property service offering.

Knight Frank Thailand is also a widely accepted expert in valuation services, with more than 50 qualified asset valuation professionals. This year the company is expanding its property valuation and hotel consulting business with the help of Greg Cordon of Knight Frank London, who has over 12 years of experience.

Phanom added that the company aims to expand the business into a fully integrated real estate advisory firm. This year, Knight Frank Thailand has broadened its services to cover the needs of more customers.

Knight Frank Thailand also plans to further develop its staff’s knowledge base and ability to provide services to its customers. The firm plans to roll out the Employer of Choice programme of Knight Frank London to help grow the business into a full-service provider, and to attract and retain talented executives, giving them opportunity to hold shares in the company.
