London desk for KF Indonesia

15 May 2013

By Andrew Batt:

In yet another sign of the burgeoning interest in London property from Indonesian buyers and investors, property agency Knight Frank has announced it will be establishing a dedicated London desk in the Indonesian capital.

In a statement yesterday the company revealed that Joel Burgess will relocate from London with the role of expanding activity in the Asia Pacific region.

Burgess will work alongside exiting Knight Frank staff in the country, reporting to country head Wilson Kalip. He will also be focusing on satisfying the cross-border appetite for property investment which, it says, is beginning to emanate from Indonesia.

His previous experience includes a stint in Singapore, and he was also involved in the sale of the high-profile Battersea Power Station project.
