Huge rise in Thailand news views

2 Apr 2014

More people are searching for property news and information about Thailand despite signs of an economic slowdown and the ongoing political crisis in the kingdom.

Online and mobile views to the news pages of DDproperty.com – Thailand’s number one property website – rose by more than 46 percent during the first three months of the year compared to the previous three-month period. When compared to the same time last year the increase is an impressive 180 percent.

DDproperty.com publishes more property news than any other media company in Thailand. During March alone the company – part of the PropertyGuru Group, Asia’s leading property media company – published more than 170 property news stories and features in Thai and English.

Those property news stories are published online and through its popular apps, and every day more than 85,000 people have chosen to receive a daily email newsletter highlighting the top stories of the day.

DDProperty.com’s editors, who have combined journalism experience of more than 30 years, have been building on their growing reputation for being first with property news that matters. Exclusive stories are also a key part of the company’s editorial output. Last month alone it published more than 10 exclusive property news stories.

Andrew Batt, International Group Editor of PropertyGuru Group who has spent more than eight years covering Thailand during his 25-year media career, said: “There is a clear need for unbiased and credible news from Thailand’s property and real estate sectors, and more readers are coming to DDproperty.com’s news pages than ever before.

“The combined effect of the economic slowdown and the ongoing political situation means information about Thailand’s property and real estate sectors is in demand like never before – and DDproperty.com will continue to providers its Thai and English readers with all the property and real estate news that matters.”
