New launches in the Philippines

Having recorded 5.7 percent GDP growth at the end of the first quarter, the residential property market in the Philippines is rocketing ahead with more new launches announced by leading developers.

In its Philippine Property Market Monitor report for July 2014, JLL noted that Anchor Land Holdings Inc has announced plans to launch two high-end residential projects by the end 2014 – Admiral Grandsuites and Manila 1590.

Admiral Grandsuites will be the second phase of the Admiral mixed-use development located on Roxas Boulevard in the city of Manila. The building will be an upscale development with less than 50 residential units, while Manila 1590 will have more than 400 units and be located on Masangkay Street in Binondo, Manila.

Developer 8990 Holdings Inc recently broke ground for its first residential condominium development located on the EDSA corner of Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City, and to be named The Urban Deca Tower, Edsa.

It will have 43 floors and have more than 1,100 residential units,
