Archetype's role in IconSiam

11 Sep 2014

Several months ago, Archetype Thailand started construction management services on the first phase of the prestigious landmark waterfront project, Icon Siam, located on one of the last remaining plots of land on the Chao Phraya River.

At 58,000 sqm, and occupying an unprecedented 300 meters of waterfront space, this project consists of two premium-branded hotels and a branded residential tower, which is designed to redefine the ultra-luxury market in Bangkok and contribute significantly to Bangkok’s ongoing riverfront revitalization efforts.

The residential component, a towering high-end serviced 73-storey property, will be the first 5-star hotel-managed riverside condominium in Bangkok, featuring 350 designed and feature-loaded residence units.

The hotel function is represented by a low rise ultra-luxury hotel facing the river and limited to 101 exclusive suites and a cascade-structure luxury hotel with 312 rooms that will redefine the urban resort experience.

The essential role played by Archetype,  an international design and project management consultancy, allowed fast progress on the construction of the show gallery unit over the past few months.

The month of June saw the unveiling of a long awaited event – the foundation stone laying ceremony – in the presence of 250 distinguished guests.
