IDEC picks Hemaraj for new factory

IDEC Asia (Thailand), a manufacturer of industrial automation and control devices, has signed a contract with Hemaraj Land And Development Plc to purchase 10 rai of land for its new factory in Hemaraj Saraburi Industrial Land (Hemaraj SIL).

Scheduled to complete construction in March 2013, the new factory will produce control devices and systems, factory automation system components and other electrical devices.

Covering an area of 1,448 acres, Hemaraj SIL is located in Thailand’s Saraburi Province and is some 70 kilometers north of Bangkok. It is currently home to 49 customers, 56 factories, including a number of Siam Cement Group companies and joint ventures from multiple countries.
