Asian users of Te Atrium, an international property portal devoted exclusively to the luxury sector, are expected to increase substantially in coming months.
The website, which was launched less than 12 months ago and is headquartered in Rome, was founded and developed by Davide Ruggiero – a London Business School graduate who identified a compelling gap in the international property portal space at the luxury end of the market.
He told DDProperty.com: “South East Asia is an emerging market for Te Atrium with page views and enquiries that have more than doubled from 2011. Requests are particularly high in London but have started to appear also in Paris, South of France and Switzerland.”
Te Atrium launched in three languages (English, French and Italian), showcasing properties from France, Italy and the United Kingdom. In less than 12 months the portal has dramatically expanded and now displays residential properties from a dynamic and diverse collection of countries including the Caribbean, the United States, Switzerland, Monaco, Morocco, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic.
Ruggiero added: “We believe that property search will move entirely online in a short number of years. The prime £1-million-plus property market is becoming increasingly globalised and the global wealthy are spreading among a far wider selection of countries than has historically been the case.”
The website plans to launch a Chinese version next year.
