Welcome to the Jungle - in Bangkok

2 Oct 2013

What has been described as the only property in Thailand with an ‘Amazon Jungle atmosphere’ will open for pre-sales in Bangkok this weekend.

The new condominium development, which will boast five-metre high ceilings in every duplex unit, is aimed at: “… answering the demand of Thai people’s living style”, with lots of green space and a combination of condo and townhouse living.

The project is located on Nakhon-In Road – Rama 5 Road, and is five minutes from Tiwanon Road MRT Station (purple line). Pinklao can be reached in 10 minutes, while Sathorn and Ratchadaphisek are between 20 and 30 minutes away.

Supachai Chammanowong, Executive Vice President of Century 21 Thailand, is marketing the Giraffe Duplex Living project which has been created by Sombat Sae-tang, President of Daygain Group Co., Ltd.

Supachai said: “The market in the past two or three years has seen the size of condos getting smaller – to as low as 21 sqm. Most projects emphasise their proximity to mass transit, making the price high, and forcing customers to live in small buildings – yet with convenient travel.

“However, in reality, Thai people’s demands for a place to live must be in proportion. A 21 sqm unit cannot match the owner who, one day, will have a family and needs to expand.

“We want to answer the needs of customers who want to have families in the future; a one-time investment for the future. This becomes a project’s concept – to respond the real Thai demand, and is entirely opposite from today’s condo concepts.”

The Giraffe Duplex Living project has an average price of THB45,000 per sqm for a 60 sqm unit. When compared with a city condo at Ladprao priced at THB90,000 per sqm  a buyer may only be able to afford a 30 sqm unit, according to the developer.

The project will open for pre-sales this coming weekend, October 5 and October 6.

“We want everyone to visit our sales jungle just once; it’s worthy enough for the inspiration that you will never get from any other project.” Supachai added.
