THB122 million deals done at Expo

22 Oct 2013

Property worth more than THB122 million was sold during the recent DDproperty.com Expo which took place at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok earlier this month.

The event, which attracted more than 3,000 property buyers and investors, also generated close to 900 sales leads worth a potential THB2 billion for exhibitors.

The two best-selling projects at the Expo were from Pattaya. The Buri Tara Resort Condo in Jomtien sold 14 units while The Ville Jomtien sold 8 villas.

Napong Panthong, Head of Marketing for DDproperty.com, said: “During the economic recession, many people think that a property buying decision will be slower than normal, however the success of the DDproperty.com Expo is proof that there is still an ongoing demand for properties, especially for condominiums in good locations in Bangkok and major tourist cities.

“Another notable trend from this event is that we noticed a lot more interest in Pattaya condominiums, where buyers tend to buy as a long-term investment in addition to buying for a holiday home.”
