The new and developing trend of London properties exhibiting in Bangkok is increasing rapidly, with yet another U.K. developer trying to tempt property buyers and investors with a U.K. property exhibition this weekend.
DDproperty.com reported on Monday about the significant increase in interest in Thailand from U.K. developers, and noted that three separate London properties will be exhibited in Bangkok this month alone.
A fourth London property exhibition, where CBRE Thailand is exhibiting the One Blackfriars project (pictured) from developer St George, will take place on Saturday September 28 and Sunday, September 29 between 10am and 6pm at Astor Room, St Regis Hotel in Bangkok.
Khun Aliwassa Pathnadabutr, Managing Director of CBRE Thailand, told DDproperty.com: "There will be more London and U.K. properties to be exhibited in Thailand, as Thailand is seen as a new market compared to Hong Kong and Singapore where U.K. properties have been showcased for quite some time already.
“The United Kingdom has long been a popular destination for Thais in terms of overseas education however the U.K. properties the target local buyers must match Thai buyers’ requirements in respect to location and unit size.”
Prior to this year the number of London properties being exhibited in Thailand could be counted on the fingers of one hand.
