International music superstar Britney Spears’ US$2.5 million house on the North Shore of Long Island, has been put up for sale by parents of her husband-to-be, Jason Trawick.
The two-acre property overlooking Conscience Bay is regarded as a getaway abode for Spears and her two sons. According to a source quoted in People.com, it was "home base when Britney did her New York concerts on the last tour."
"She really did love staying there and it was a great getaway for peace and privacy," said the aforementioned source. "Her boys loved fishing off the dock with Jason in their backyard."
The five-bedroom home, located in Old Field, New York on the North Shore of Long Island, has stunning views of Conscious Bay and sits on a secluded two acres in one of the wealthiest communities in the country.
No stranger to real estate transactions, the pop princess has exhibited particular dismay concerning the pending sale of her Long Island hideaway, exclaiming "NOOOO. I love this house!" to her followers on the popular social media platform Twitter.
Put up on the market by Spears’ future in-laws William and Susan, the Long Island property is also said to entitle its purchaser trivia on the popular singer.
